Team Played: Merewether No.2

Match Report: The team played very well today with some very good passing between players and finding space to create opportunities. Hard to say anyone stood out as everyone contributed greatly to the win. Goals by Patrick (2), Noah (2), Sam (1), Luke (1) and Khalen (1).

We need to continue to work on our positional play to ensure we keep our shape, great effort today and look forward to more improvement as we go forward.

Result : 1-1

 

Match Report: The team started slowly against a very good Merewether side. We found ourselves down 1-0 at half time and weren't quite in the game. After the break the boys came out firing and dominated most of the 2nd half. We managed a well deserved equaliser through some good team work which was slotted home by Patrick.

 

Strong performances across the park but Zach, Liam and Kye were solid at the back and Luke and Ben held us together in the midfield. Special mention to Hayden and Noah who adapted better than most to positional changes even though they weren't very comfortable to start with. We are well catered for when it comes to Strikers as we seem to have about 7 lads wishing to play there, not sure how this part will unfold.

Match Report: well for our first real game of the year it was a tough one but the panthers put there best foot forward and showed that they will be a force to reckon with. Most players were introduced to new positions and were a little worried but it all came together by the end. stand out players were ZACH,LIAM,DAVO,LUKE,SAM,BEN,NICK,PAT, really all played well.We were well supported by the panther parents.Ok team lets train hard and get stronger every week.Your coach LEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
